Roller hearth kiln is also called roller hearth kiln. It is mainly used in the production of ceramic building materials such as ceramic tiles. Roller hearth kiln is a continuous firing kiln, which uses rotating rollers as green body carrier. Ceramic products are placed on a number of closely spaced horizontal fire-resistant rollers, and the rotation of the rollers enables ceramics to be transported from the kiln head to the kiln tail, so it is called roller hearth kiln.
Generally, the roller hearth kiln has a small section and uniform temperature in the kiln, which is suitable for rapid firing, but the roller material and installation technology requirements are high. It is mainly used for rapid firing of building and sanitary ceramics.
The working principle of roller hearth kiln is that the ceramic body can be directly placed on the roller or placed on the base plate first, and then the hot plate is placed on the roller. As the roller rotates continuously, the green body can move forward in sequence.
There is a small sprocket at the end of each roller, which is driven by the chain to rotate. In order to drive stably, the chain is often divided into several groups to drive.
The rollers at low temperature are made of heat-resistant nickel chromium alloy steel, and the rollers at high temperature are made of heat-resistant ceramic rollers (such as corundum ceramic rollers or silicon carbide rollers). The roller can reach 2.5m in length and 25-27mm in diameter. It is required to be straight, round and accurate in size.
